Hold at least one in-person event in Switzerland, UK and Germany
The main goal is met, with in-person events in Zurich, London and Berlin. There may be a holiday party on 5th of December in Zürich
Week ending 30/10/2026 · 62 days left in Daft Punk
Daft Punk is 75% of the way through, running to the end of December: 1 project is done, 1 is on track, 5 are at risk, 2 are behind and 2 have not started. The bright spots are Julia's Berlin workshops, the Design Principles cards and Fun. The gaps are the main deliverables still to finish - the user needs document, enriched principles and the Measurement section - and fundraising.

Run 3 experiments to reach grassroots community builders.
Julia's Berlin workshops are exceeding expectations, and the printed cards and QR stickers experiments are both on track. LinkedIn posting has been quiet since late July.
Get feedback from 3 community builders who have tried the Toolkit and establish a feedback process
Register goal: Feedback from 10 community builders who tried the Toolkit
Two community builders have given substantive feedback on the Toolkit and two more gave light reactions; no new pilot feedback has come in since the cycle began. The meeting with the Brighton theatre lead is being rearranged, and a call with a new website sign-up is booked for 06/11.
Finish and publish the Measurement section
Measurement signals for every principle and a decision-tree diagram were drafted in June and July, and the section is nearly complete. It is waiting for a final review before publication.
A document that defines user needs for grassroots community builders.
Research is well advanced: 6 of the 10 interviews are done, 5 more are lined up, and the synthesis and persona cards exist. The user needs document itself has not been drafted yet.
Iron out the inefficiencies and confusion
Core infrastructure is in place and the simplified bookkeeping is now complete. Karen's project check-in pilot is on hold until next year.
Establish a regular rhythm of rituals and engagement
Weekly prompts, member 1:1s, an onboarding board and the TBD Pulse update were all set up. The rhythm has been quieter since August after a change in capacity.
Ensure that TBD meets its goals in Daft Punk
Gus has drafted the Kanton Zurich tax-exemption application and the board has agreed the answers, but it still needs the signed Articles, a budget and agreed wording on board roles. The simplified bookkeeping it depends on is now complete.
Launch 1 app and fix email deliverability
Icebreakers is live on the website and was refreshed on 16/10, but it has not been tested or launched yet. The board has descoped the main goal to Icebreakers plus fixing email deliverability.
Ensure that everything we put out there makes sense
Fraser and Eva proofread the Design Principles, an article and later Toolkit sections. The board decided in August to merge Proofreading into the Toolkit project.
Address the top 10 priority principles.
The dryness audit names the priority principles, but no principle has been enriched yet.
